The Republic of Ghana was formed from the merger of the British Colony of the Gold Coast and the Togoland trust territory. Ghana declared its independence in 1957, becoming the first sub-Saharan country in colonial Africa to gain its independence. Clearly, it is one of the most friendly countries in the world with an awesome opportunity to build its infrastructure and capacity to compete and trade globally, even more than it does now. Since our first visit to Ghana in 2004, we know firsthand that pure and authentic nature of the people to be friendly, helpful and grateful.
Our primary operating base is in Accra (Ghana's Capital) with some interests of working within the other 10 Regions of the country. Our intentions are to exchange knowledge and skills around small business and non governmental organization development by partnering with key government, business and organization leaders.
We intend to assist in building and improving the infrastructure and capacity of individuals, businesses, organizations, and government in Ghana. We offer as much of our USA operations' services in Ghana as possible. Our focus is to help Ghana gain equal footing of KNOWLEDGE & INFORMATION to develop infrastructure and capacity that will allow them to compete, both locally and globally.
From working with a newly formed business by offering management consulting to developing a website that highlights a vast amount of products and services that serve to assist other businesses, Ghana challenges us to do our best each and every time.
One of the unique things we have learned about working in Ghana is, relationships are more important than business. The culture and friendliness of the people keep us going back and the spirit of the people sustain us as we deliver our services. We pride ourselves in listening to hear how we can be of greater service and not exert our Western/American privilege.
